This 7% amber-burnt orange coloured brew has been created from hand selected barrels. On the nose there is oak, light vanilla, vinous and even a fresh spicy note. It has a thin body, understandably due to barrel aging. Flavour is very wine-like, reminiscing of Pinot Noir w/ a dry, oaky and slightly sour finish. The unique part is halfway through the barrel ageing process, a cultured and propagated Somerset grape wild yeast was added, making this extremely special batch a homage to beer & wine that work harmoniously to create a complex & delicious beer.
Based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches under the guidance of brewmaster Leonardo Di Vincenzo. A brewery started based on a passion for adventure and the desire to create something unique. Focusing on traditional styles with a Native Australian twist, taking inspiration from our surrounds and combining ingredients like Pepper Berries, Bush Tomatoes, Finger Lime and More, to deliver something thats not just a me to beer. Expect something different and an adventure in taste.
