Bottle Bretted Grisette
Using our Botanicole a beer Originally brewed as collab in 2016 with Melissa Cole, English Beer Writer. Botanicole combines, sessionability of the grisette style with a complex dose of local herbs and citrus. Bottle conditioned with Brettanomyces Claussenii, Grisette Brett Reserve started it’s life out as a beer with herbaceous, spicy aromas giving way to a dry, lean refreshing palate. The addition of Brett C has brought tangy, sherbety farmhouse notes which will develop as the beer ages in the bottle.
Small batches of beer from North End’s very own Kapiti Sour Project. The Salt & Wood Range includes beers that have a bit of funk, kettle souring, barrel aging or wild fermentation.
North End Brewery is a small team, producing beer right out of their brewery in Waikanae, on the Kapiti Coast. Brought to life in 2013 by a trio of kiwis passionate about food, drink and the coast. Producing a range of beers, inspired by traditional European styles, brewed to capture the uniqueness of our land. Taking our name from Kapiti Island, where the aptly named ‘North End’ is most visible from Waikanae Beach; we appreciate everything local.
