Vintage: 2012
Region: Chablis

100% Chardonnay
Excellent old vine Chablis from one of the oldest and best producers of the region.
Fermented with all natural yeasts for 3 weeks, followed by malolactic fermentation & 12 months of aging on lees with monthly batonnage followed by 4 years bottle age before release.
Not lean and steely like many Chablis, aromas of lemon curd, almond paste, dandelions and burnt butter. Ample palate weight and grows in the mouth, savoury stone fruits and a moreish mineral finish.
