Tasting Notes: This gold medal winning New Zealand pilsner derives from the traditional Czech style, brewed with pilsner malt and cold-fermented with lager yeast. We use New Zealand hops and put most of them late in the brew to promote more hop flavour and aroma than a traditional pilsner. A crisp and clean beverage with a beautiful balance of bitterness and sweet malt.

Food pairing: Pairs well with spicy food as the hop crispness cuts through the spices and the sweet malt balances against the heat of chilli. This malt forward beer also pairs well with grilled meat or fish. The crispness of this beer balances the saltiness of snacks such as nuts or crisps.
